With more than 30 years’ global experience in design and construction projects, Ewan has a strong track record in establishing new businesses and developing management teams. A graduate of Melbourne’s Monash University, he has led Gamuda Australia’s pioneer team since 2019.

Chief Strategy & Growth OfficerWith 30 years of expertise in the construction industry, Adrian specialises in tactical pipeline planning, strategic tender delivery, project launch and client liaison. His expertise extends to risk management, governance, and providing leadership for major projects and tenders. As the pre-contracts team lead, he successfully spearheaded Gamuda Australia’s entry into the Australian market, completing various noteworthy tenders.

Chee Young Goh
With 26 years of successful experience in managing and delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, Chee Young is particularly interested in interfacing various rail components, architectural, M&E, and structural work and ensuring seamless integration of public transportation. Currently serving as the chief of staff, he oversees staff administration and plays important roles in tender support, integrating Gamuda entities and coordinating offshore resources in Malaysia."I am committed to building exceptionally strong teams, and with my experience and technical skills, I aim to contribute significantly to business growth in Australia."

Murray is a senior commercial and legal executive with over 30 years of experience in the engineering, construction, and infrastructure industries, working with global firms and government bodies. His skill set includes handling contract negotiations and all commercial aspects of projects for delivery under every type of delivery models, both domestic and international. He provides commercial advice and support to Gamuda's operations in Australia.

Dr Lean-Hock Ooi
Dr Lean-Hock Ooi holds a PhD in geotechnical engineering from the University of Sydney. He has worked on Gamuda’s largest projects in Malaysia and is recognised as a leading professional in his field.“Gamuda has been a magnificent platform for me to gain invaluable experience from the international projects I’ve been privileged to work on. The varied nature of the different engineering challenges, coupled with working with people across different cultures and countries, is what I enjoy the most.”

Originally from Hungary, Gus is known as one of the leading global tunnel builders.“I joined Gamuda almost two decades ago and was part of the team which pioneered the variable density and autonomous tunnel boring machines on the world-famous SMART tunnel project and the construction of the first MRT Line in Kuala Lumpur.”

Richard Petaccia
Richard has worked on major projects across Australia and around the world including the famous ANZAC Bridge in Sydney. He will head up Gamuda’s strategic operations in Australia and lead on major projects. -

Brad Jackson
Brad is Gamuda’s Operations Director. He is tasked to build the team in Victoria and head the Operational start-up in New South Wales (NSW).“I have been given a great opportunity to help build Gamuda’s team in Victoria and lead Operational start-up in NSW. Gamuda will be recognised as a leading contributor to the industry. The resources and talent within Gamuda mean it can offer an innovative and alternative solution for many of the future projects taking place here and across the other states.”

Simon has extensive experience in Australia and overseas, working on major projects such as the Sydney Light Rail and Westfield White City in London.“The people at Gamuda are engineers first and foremost and are all constantly thinking of the ways in which we can do things differently, more efficiently and ultimately better. Ben has nearly 20 years’ experience working in commercial construction and infrastructure, with 14 spent directly managing work health and safety. Ng Hau Wei
Hau-Wei has spent the last 19 years working for Gamuda as a tunnel engineer, manager and now director.“Our tunnelling capabilities in manoeuvring difficult ground conditions has given birth to many engineering innovations, with the latest being the Autonomous Tunnel Boring Machine (A-TBM). I am excited to bring the same type of internationally recognised innovation to tunnelling projects in Australia that we have successfully pioneered overseas.”

Tim Holmes
Tim has delivered executive leadership roles on some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects. He has over 20 years of experience including senior positions with top-tier construction firms, consulting firms and government agencies. He leads Gamuda’s Communications and Stakeholder Engagement in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. His role encompasses Business Development, pre-contracts and bid leadership.“It is incredibly exciting being part of Gamuda in Australia and helping establish the business as a significant player. Major Projects Operational and Support Manager
Gary Marshall
Gary brings over 35 years of experience successfully leading projects across various disciplines such as underground mining, tunnelling, water treatment plants and large infrastructure construction works among others. He takes on a major role at Gamuda in starting projects right and setting them up for success. His role includes providing support and advice to all major projects operationally and monitoring ongoing projects.“Gamuda is well known and highly regarded for its success in major infrastructure projects, well-established relationships with stakeholders and the support given to employees.
