Rise & Shine At Gamuda Head Office
Last night we welcomed a special group of future sustainability leaders to our Sydney Head Office for a night of laughter, discussion, and networking as part of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council’s RISE Mentoring program.
We heard from Infrastructure Sustainability Council’s CEO, Ainsley Simpson who shared her top five lessons learnt throughout her leadership journey, and Gamuda’s Sianne Bennett on how Gamuda is developing talented sustainability leaders to deliver social, cultural, environmental and economic benefits.
As a company that values all aspects of sustainability and continues to invest in a variety of ESG projects Gamuda is proud to announce its three-year partnership with the Infrastructure Sustainability Council’s RISE program.
“At Gamuda, sustainability has a seat at the table. For this reason, nurturing the future sustainability leaders of tomorrow is high on our agenda” says Head of Environment and Sustainability Hayley Young. “As construction professionals, my hope is that the RISE Mentoring Program brings participants together to create new connections and build stronger networks to drive real and valuable industry-wide outcomes together.”

The RISE mentoring program aims to attract and nurture future sustainability leaders within the infrastructure industry by individually matching the Mentees with relevant Mentors and providing them a structured platform to assist in their mentoring journey. This can be a transformative experience for both the mentor and mentee, often stimulating personal and professional growth on both sides.
