New Team, New Energy

We’re excited to introduce some new Gamuda team members to expand our capabilities in emerging sectors, who share our experience and a passion for innovation and excellence.

David May, Head of Energy, is a highly experienced leader with 25 years’ in project management and execution across major infrastructure projects, oil & gas, mining, and renewable energy, and has held executive positions at Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, Senivon and General Electric.

Mark Cadman, Emerging Markets Director, joins Gamuda with over 20 years’ experience positioning organisations to achieve strategic growth ambitions, both in Australia and internationally, having worked across major infrastructure and energy opportunities.

Andrew Wilson, Engineering Director Energy, has over 30 years’ experience across the full range of project delivery activities from concept, through to design and delivery on over 11GW of power projects, with a passion for engineering and construction in the renewable energy sector including senior roles at Hochtief, Gibb and McConnell Dowell.

Amir Jesmi, Engineering Director Transmission and Power, has 24 years of experience in technical design, engineering management, project management and construction in substations, transmission lines, solar farms and power plants both domestically and globally including holding senior positions at UGL and Fulmen.

Uygur Aydin, Project Director, has over 22 years’ international experience in the renewable energy sector as a proven technical leader in delivering large-scale hydroelectric power plant projects at Voith and Andritz.

Gabriel Malki, Delivery Director, has over 25 years’ proven experiences leading renewable energy, water and oil & gas projects delivering over 10GW of solar and renewable energy projects and development in Australia.

Bruce Van Breda, Project Director, has over 33 years’ experience in the delivery of the utility scale electrical and renewable industry projects, most recently over half on programme and project management across transmission, solar, wind and gas generation.

Charlie Haire, Water & Energy Adviser, has over 25 years ‘experience working on complex linear infrastructure projects in the utility and civil sectors with a track record of developing partnerships and collaborative contacting models within the utility clients and authorities.

Craig Kroon, Bid Director, has over 30 years’ experience across all aspects of the construction lifecycle for utility-scale water, renewable energy and transmission power projects with UGL, RCR Tomlinson & TransGrid.

Frank Jansen, Business Development Manager, has over 30 years’ experience in the construction and engineering industry, both on-site and in corporate roles and is a proven operator in business development, bid strategy and management.

Melvin Yeo, Project Engineer, has nearly a decade of experience in project delivery roles across EPC infrastructure and energy construction projects including recent solar power projects in Malaysia.

Adeline Moo, Pre-contracts Engineer, has a background in civil engineering and has worked at Gamuda for over five years in Malaysia and Australia assisting with front-end design and development of major infrastructure and energy projects.

Riya Kattady, Electrical Engineering Intern, is a final year Master of Engineering student at the Western Sydney University with an interest in clean energy and renewable technology. She is assisting the team with electrical design and engineering solutions.

Together they will support Gamuda to break new ground across a range of exciting new fields of opportunity.
