Our strategy is to identify and secure development rights for “shovel ready” solar and wind projects within Australia and work with partners to fast track these to meet the community need for high quality renewable energy assets.

Gamuda has a dedicated team of inhouse energy experts with local and international development and delivery experience across solar, wind, pumped hydro and transmission networks. This team draws on the extensive design and engineering knowledge of the Gamuda group with the common drive to achieve innovative breakthrough solutions for the energy sector.
Gamuda has secured specialist supply partners to de-risk and fast track projects including ERS, Malaysia’s largest solar contracting company and Rohas Tecnic, a leading Malaysian supplier of turnkey solutions for transmission networks.

Gamuda is a world-leading expert in large-scale, complex infrastructure construction projects and is delivering projects in Australia valued at over $4.5bn. Our recognised international experience in complex and linear engineering and construction, tunnelling, hydro and geo tech is highly suited to take on transmission, solar, wind and pumped hydro projects.
Our recent international capability in renewables includes delivering the NEDA39 Solar Farm in Neda Pekan Malaysia generating 64,000 MWh of solar power annually and our investment in the Ulu Padas Hydroelectric Dam in Sabah with capacity to produce 187.5 megawatts of electricity.
