Invested: Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040

Gamuda is delighted to be featured as a case study in ‘Invested: Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040’, a report for the Australian Government by Special Envoy for Southeast Asia, Nicholas Moore AO.

Gamuda Group Managing Director, Dato’ Lin Yun Ling, said “Our strong local partnerships are critical to the successes we have, and continue to seek, in the Australian market.”

The strategy outlined in the report sets out a practical pathway to increase two-way trade and investment between Australia and Southeast Asia and was officially launched by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong last week.

We are mentioned in Chapter 6: Infrastructure (page 79) highlighting how Gamuda is bringing its innovative technologies to Australian infrastructure projects and the instrumental role of Austrade in paving the way for Gamuda to establish a strong presence in Australia.

Gamuda’s story demonstrates that Southeast Asian businesses can successfully invest in Australia with mutual benefits.
